Service matters to me. I'm your customer. My family shops in your stores, uses your services and is just like so many other families that do the same. Recently I found myself pondering how simple service is, but how difficult it seems to be to deliver. After sixteen years of a career trying to instill a service mentality in to managers and frontline employees in various retail and contact center organizations, I've decided to write, rant and place my thoughts in a central place.
